Lamp measures 118 mm/4.6 ins. in length. The slip worn, particularly on the shoulder and the nozzle, and some brown encrustation on the underside, but overall a nice example, c. 2nd Century A.D. A red-brown Islamic oil lamp, with a ridged body that slopes upwards towards the aperture, with a sharply angled loop handle extending from the shoulder to the lip. Lamp measures 83 mm/3.3 ins. in length. An ancient chip to the base, otherwise condition good, c. 7th Century A.D.A nice example of the type.AL9 Romano-Egyptian oil lamp: £ 55Circular Romano-Egyptian oil lamp with short round nozzle and the shoulder segmented by incised lines. Lamp measures 69 mm/2.7 in. in length. Some sooty deposit around the nozzle and minor wear to the body, otherwise condition good, c. 2nd - 4th Century A.D.
