Supplied in a silk-lined gift box.The perfect gift for an Egyptophile lady.EA4 Turquoise blue glazed faience ushabti tomb figure, 26th Dynasty, 664-525 B.C. : £ 395Turquoise blue glazed faience ushabti figure of typical form carrying a pick and adze. Ushabti measures 118 mm/4.6 ins. high and has seven lines of hieroglyphic text on the lower body and a single column of hieroglyphs on the back pillar. Made from a rather dirty mould which has resulted in blurring of the hieroglyphs and some bubbles to the surface of the head region, but a good-sized attractive figure with good colour, 26th Dynasty, 664-525 B.C.Reputedly originally acquired in Egypt during the 2nd World War.EA5 A good-sized terracotta ushabti, 21st Dynasty, 1069-945 B.C. : £ 295A good-sized terracotta ushabti, measuring 112 mm/4.5 ins. high, with worn white slip and traces of hieroglyphs and seed bag in black.
