A blue grey faience amulet of Thoth in the form of a seated baboon, measuring 13 mm/0.5 ins. high. Some chips to the base, a chip to the nose, but a well-modelled example. Late Dynastic Period, 1085-332 B.C.
Previously in the collection of Hugh Stanley Russell (1924-2000), a noted collector of Egyptian antiquities. Mounted on a perspex block.

A well-modelled blue grey faience amulet of Bes, wearing a plumed head-dress, measuring 27 mm/1.1 ins. high. Some small inoffensive chips to the base, otherwise intact and a very nice finely-modelled example. Late Dynastic Period, c. 1085-332 B.C.

A finely-modelled blue glass amulet of Bes, with hands on thighs and pronounced buttocks, measuring 23 mm/0.9 ins. high. Not pierced for suspension and intact, a very nice example. Roman Period, c. 30 B.C.-395 A.D.

A turquoise glazed faience amulet of Taweret, the hippopotamus goddess of childbirth, measuring 28 mm/1.1 ins. high. The back pillar with attachment loop, a small chip to one hand, a small chip to the loop, some wear to the glaze, otherwise condition good, Late Period, c. 600 B.C.

A blue green faience bust of Sekhmet, being the upper part of a large amulet, measuring 26 mm/1 in. high. A loop at the back of the head for suspension. Broken at the waist but a good-sized, well-modelled example, Late Dynastic Period, 1085-31 B.C
