EA45 Bronze bull, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664-332 B.C. : £ 450

An Egyptian bronze bull depicted walking on an integral rectangular base. Bull measures 50 mm/2 ins. in length and stands 50 mm/2 ins. high from the base to the tip of the horns. The tip of one horn and one ear lost, otherwise condition good, with a dark green patina, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664-332 B.C. Mounted on a mahogany base.

EA46 A fine mummy mask in unpainted wood, 26th Dynasty, 664-525 B.C. : SOLD

A fine mummy mask in unpainted wood, measuring 273 mm/10.74 ins. high. The eyes outlined in black and the surface scored by ancient insect attack, although this does not detract from the beauty of the piece, 26th Dynasty, 664-525 B.C.

EA47 A wooden falcon with a gilded face, Late Dynastic Period, c. 600 B.C. : SOLD

A wooden falcon covered in light gesso, measuring 130 mm,/5.1 ins. in length. The falcon painted red with a yellow painted bead net covering the body, the face gilded with black eyes. A hole in the top of the head which would have originally held a plumed head-dress. The gesso worn, but originally a fine example. Late Dynastic Period, c. 600 B.C. Mounted on a wooden base.

EA48 A wooden figure of a hawk, Late Period, c. 600 B.C. : SOLD

A wooden figure of a hawk, measuring 100 mm/3.93 ins. in length, traces of white paint to the head with black details, a dowel hole towards the posterior. Probably represents the God Sopdu and from the top of a shabti box, condition good, mounted on a mahogany base. Late Period, c. 600 B.C.

EA49 Egyptian stone hair ring : £ 90

A greenish-grey Ancient Egyptian stone hair-ring measuring 20 mm/0.8 ins. in diameter, of typical form but with one large chip, otherwise condition good. An old collection number inked on the interior and an old collectors label describing it as a spindle whorl attached. New Kingdom to Late Period, 1st - 2nd Millennium B.C.
