ST7 An unusual bifacially flaked ovate flint implement : £ 135An unusual bifacially flaked ovate flint implement with a deep orange patination, measuring 115 mm/4.5 ins. in length. Partial polishing has led to removal of some of the orange patination, suggesting that this may be a Palaeolithic handaxe that has been partially polished at a much later date. An ancient chip to one edge, otherwise condition good. Probably from Southern England.
