Sizeable and inexpensive Neolithic artefacts.ST20 A large Danish Neolithic grey argillite axehead : £ 220 A large parallel-sided Danish Neolithic argillite flaked axehead measuring 237 mm/9.4 ins. in length, with a gentle posterior taper. Some small chips to one edge of the cutting edge and some minor iron staining, but a nice example of a classic Danish artefact, Late Neolithic, c. 2000 B.C.

Three good-sized Neolithic leaf-shaped flint arrowheads, measuring 42-44 mm/1.7 ins. in length, one of brown-fawn flint, a perfect symmetrical example, one of mottled brown flint with side chips close to the point, and the third of grey flint, partially finished. All from Mauritania, North Africa, c. 5th-7th Millennium B.C.
ST22 A Danish Neolithic partially polished flint axehead : £ 85A Danish Neolithic mottled brown, partially polished flint axehead with a marked posterior taper, measuring 108 mm/4.2 ins. in length and 14 mm/0.5 ins. in thickness, the butt rectangular in cross-section. The cutting edge chipped but a nice example of the type, c. 2000 B.C.
