ST19 Large ground brown or grey flint Neolithic work axes : £ 45 each

Three large ground brown or grey flint Neolithic work axes, measuring 146 mm/5.8 ins. to 170 mm/6.5 ins. in length. All are chipped and have lost their cutting edges. Possibly Danish and with old collection numbers, c. 2000 B.C.
Sizeable and inexpensive Neolithic artefacts.

ST20 A large Danish Neolithic grey argillite axehead : £ 220

A large parallel-sided Danish Neolithic argillite flaked axehead measuring 237 mm/9.4 ins. in length, with a gentle posterior taper. Some small chips to one edge of the cutting edge and some minor iron staining, but a nice example of a classic Danish artefact, Late Neolithic, c. 2000 B.C.

ST21 A group of four Saharan Neolithic arrowheads, Libyan Desert, c. 4000 B.C. : £ 45 the group NEW!

A group of four Saharan Neolithic flint arrowheads measuring from 22 mm/0.9 in. to 33 mm/1.3 ins. in length. Types present include leaf-shaped, barbed and tanged and hollow-base, and all nice examples. Found in the Libyan Desert, North Africa, c. 4000 B.C.

ST22 A Danish Neolithic partially polished flint axehead : £ 85

A Danish Neolithic mottled brown, partially polished flint axehead with a marked posterior taper, measuring 108 mm/4.2 ins. in length and 14 mm/0.5 ins. in thickness, the butt rectangular in cross-section. The cutting edge chipped but a nice example of the type, c. 2000 B.C.
