ST35 A Danish Mid Neolithic flint dagger, 3rd Millennium B.C. : SOLD

A Danish Mid Neolithic mottled brown flint bifacially flaked dagger measuring 178 mm/7 ins. in length. An indentation on the side of the blade reworked, otherwise condition good. From Naestved, South Zealand, Denmark, 3rd millennium B.C.

ST36 A Danish Late Neolithic grey flint dagger : SOLD

A Danish Late Neolithic mottled grey flint bifacially flaked dagger with a leaf-shaped blade and integral handle, measuring 141 mm/5.6 ins. in length. A few small chips to the point, otherwise, condition good and a nice example of the type. From Naestved, South Zealand, Denmark, c.1800-2000 B.C.

ST37 A Neolithic polished stone axehead, c. 2500 B.C. : SOLD

A Neolithic polished grey stone axehead with a symmetrical posterior taper, measuring 100 mm/4 ins. in length. Some minor chips to the cutting edge, and some ancient chips to the butt and body, but otherwise condition good and a nice example, c. 2500 B.C.
Provenance unknown, but previously in the Collection of Frances Brodie (died 2004), London, who reputedly acquired the axehead from the Anthropological Museum of the University of Aberdeen.

ST38 A fine Danish Late Neolithic flint dagger blade : £ 285

A mottled grey flint Late Neolithic dagger blade measuring 203 mm/8 ins. in length. The tip restored, but otherwise a fine example of the type. From Denmark, c. 2000 B.C.

ST39 A Danish Late Neolithic flint dagger : £ 125

A mottled grey flint Danish Late Neolithic dagger with integral handle measuring 161 mm/6.3 ins. in length. A chip to the blade tip and a horizontal fracture to the blade repaired, but an inexpensive example, c. 2000 B.C.

ST40 A Neolithic grey flint polished axehead, c. 2500 B.C. : SOLD

A Neolithic polished grey flint axehead, measuring 105 mm/4.2 ins. in length. Some minor chips to the cutting edge, otherwise condition good and a nice example, c. 2500 B.C.
Provenance unknown, but previously in the Collection of Frances Brodie (died 2004), London, who reputedly acquired the axehead from the Anthropological Museum of the University of Aberdeen.
