OA12 A small Cypriot White Painted Ware shallow bowl, 7th-8th Century B.C. : £ 125A small Cypriot buff coloured White Painted Ware shallow bowl, measuring 107 mm/4.2 ins. in diameter across the handles. Bowl has two small loop handles and is decorated on the interior and exterior with encircling concentric umber bands, Cypriot Iron Age, 7th-8th Century B.C. Some very minor wear and encrustation, but generally in fine condition.OA13 A Hellenistic black glazed skyphos, c. 4th Century B.C. : £ 145A Hellenistic black glazed skyphos, measuring 95 mm/3.6 ins. high and 145 mm/5.7 ins. in diameter across the handles. Some minor wear to the slip on the handles, some small chips to the rim, and traces of finger marks where the vessel was held when the black slip was applied, but a nice example of the type, circa 4th Century B.C.OA14 A black glazed Gnathia ware footed dish, 4th Century B.C. : £ 135A black glazed Gnathia ware footed dish with impressed linked palmettes in the centre of the bowl, measuring 132 mm/5.2 ins. in diameter and standing 52 mm/2 ins. high. Some wear to the glaze, particularly to the exterior of the rim, two rim shards re-fixed, and a small rim chip, 4th Century B.C.Ex Netherlands Private Collection.OA15 A Laconian aryballos, c. 6th Century B.C. : SOLDA Laconian aryballos decorated with crimson and umber bands on the shoulder and rim, the bowl undecorated. Vessel measures 66 mm/2.3 ins. in height, minor wear to the decoration and a chip to the rim, otherwise condition good, c. 6th Century B.C.Ex German Private Collection.OA16 A small Cypriot Black-on-Red Ware single-handled flask, c. 750-600 B.C. : SOLDA small Cypriot Black-on-Red Ware single-handled flask with everted rim, measuring 83 mm/3.3 ins in height. One side of the bowl repaired with a small area of restoration, but the decoration in very good condition, c. 750-600 B.C. |
