A Bolivian pottery beaker in debased Tiahuanaco style, measuring 127 mm/4.8 ins. high. The vessel fabric is orange earthenware, with an orange-red slip decorated with red bands around the rim and body with black geometric decoration between the bands. Vessel has a flat base, a pronounced flared rim and one thumb spur handle on the lower body (now missing). Some inoffensive chips to the rim and the decoration worn but an elegant form. Bolivia, c. 200-700 A.D.

PC13 A Bolivian pottery bowl in debased Tiahuanaco style, c. 200-700 A.D. : £ 155

A good-sized Bolivian pottery bowl in debased Tiahuanaco style, measuring 143 mm/5.6 ins. in diameter and 65 mm/2.6 ins. high. The fabric is orange earthenware with red slip. The exterior undecorated, but the interior decorated with widely spaced inverted triangles infilled with black lines. Inoffensive wear, some minor chips to the rim, otherwise condition good, Bolivia, c. 200-700 A.D.

A Mezcala grey stone figure, measuring 169 mm/6.6 ins. in height, of typical angular shape with stylised incised details and short straight legs. Some inoffensive wear, the nose lost through chipping and a recent chip to the inside of one leg, but a pleasing example of a classic artefact. From Guerrero, Mexico, 300 B.C. - 300 A.D.

A Mezcala green stone figure, measuring 68 mm/2.6 ins. in height, with incised slit eyes and mouth, the arms folded across the torso. An ancient chip to the back of the head, otherwise condition good. From Guerrero, Mexico, 300 B.C. - 300 A.D.

PC16 A good-sized round-bottomed Chupicuaro jar from central Mexico, c. 500-0 B.C. : £ 195

A good-sized round-bottomed Chupicuaro jar with two pierced lug handles, measuring 125 mm/4.8 ins. high. The vessel painted with red geometric decoration on a cream ground. Two inoffensive rim chips and an elongate probe hole on the shoulder, otherwise condition good, from central Mexico, c. 500-0 B.C.
Previously in the collection of Anne and Richard Sharpe, Connecticut, USA, and acquired by them more than 30 years ago.

A good-sized Bolivian pottery bowl in debased Tiahuanaco style, measuring 143 mm/5.6 ins. in diameter and 78 mm/3.1 ins. high. The fabric is orange earthenware with red slip. The exterior is decorated with geometric patterns in a horizontal register around the rim, and a black band close to the base. A few inoffensive chips to the rim, one partial hairline crack, but sound, from Bolivia, c. 200-700 A.D.
