A Huastec pottery head, with long hair and sharp nose, measuring 30 mm/1.1 ins. high, mounted on a black wooden block. Minor wear, otherwise condition good. Cultural horizon: Panuco IV-VI, c. 400 - 800 A.D., from Veracruz, Mexico.
Previously part of a collection auctioned by Pearsons of Winchester, Hampshire (UK) on 4-5 December 1972 (part of Lot 891).

A Huastec pottery head, with almond-shaped eyes and open mouth, measuring 47 mm/1.8 ins. high, mounted on a black wooden block. Nose chipped and minor wear, particularly to the hair, otherwise condition good. Cultural horizon: Panuco IV-VI, c. 400 - 800 A.D., from Veracruz, Mexico.

A Huastec pottery head and shoulders from a figurine, with pierced ears and a torc-like necklace, measuring 46 mm/1.8 ins. high, mounted on a black wooden block. Headdress missing but not affecting the face, arms broken at the shoulders and traces of red slip. Cultural horizon: Panuco IV-VI, c. 400 - 800 A.D., from Veracruz, Mexico.

A Huastec pottery head and shoulders from a female figurine, broken below the breasts, with pierced ears and pouting lips, measuring 58 mm/2.2 ins. high, mounted on a black wooden block. One arm broken at the shoulder but an attractive figure. Cultural horizon: Panuco IV-VI, c. 400 - 800 A.D., from Veracruz, Mexico.
