PC35 A painted Jalisco bowl from western central Mexico, c. 300 B.C. - 300 A.D. : £ 120

A Jalisco bowl measuring 38 mm/1.3 ins. high and 127 mm/5 ins. in diameter. The interior painted red brown and the exterior decorated with a red and cream checker pattern. One rim chip, otherwise intact, western central Mexico, c. 300 B.C. - 300 A.D.
Previously in the collection of Anne and Richard Sharpe, Connecticut, USA, and acquired by them more than 30 years ago.

PC36 A good-sized round-bottomed Chupicuaro bowl from central Mexico, c. 500 - 0 B.C. : £ 185

A good-sized round-bottomed Chupicuaro bowl with inturned rim, measuring 72 mm/2.8 ins. high and 190 mm/7.4 ins. in diameter. A small stylised face on the rim and a red painted geometric pattern, outlined in black on the shoulder. Possibly some repainting and two hairline rim cracks but sound, from central Mexico, c. 500 - 0 B.C. The base twice marked "195" in large letters.
Previously in the collection of Anne and Richard Sharpe, Connecticut, USA, and acquired by them more than 30 years ago.

PC37 A Mexican brownware pottery bowl having three mammiform legs, c. 500 B.C. - 300 B.C. : £ 140

A Mexican brownware pottery bowl having three mammiform legs, standing 45 mm/1.7 ins. high and measuring 190 mm/7.5 ins. in diameter. The rim decorated with impressed dots. Repaired from approximately six original pieces with some minor losses and visible breaklines, c. 500 B.C. - 300 B.C.
Previously in the collection of Anne and Richard Sharpe, Connecticut, USA, and acquired by them more than 30 years ago.

PC38 Chimu silver tweezers in the form of a stylised bird from northern Peru, c. 800-1200 A.D. : £ 120

Chimu silver tweezers in the form of a stylised bird, measuring 51 mm/2 ins. across. Tweezers have a variegated dark grey and green patina, with some minor encrustation, otherwise condition good, from northern Peru, c. 800-1200 A.D.
Previously in a private Florida collection.

A Chimu copper ring, with inset interlocking triangular shell decorative elements. The ring measuring 20 mm/0.8 ins. in diameter. Two of the shell elements lost, and some showing corrosion, otherwise condition good, from northern Peru, c. 800-1200 A.D.
