All the items listed below are guaranteed to be genuine ancient Roman or Italic artifacts and come from private collections assembled prior to 1985. All the antiquities listed have been acquired from legal sources. UK and US customers can now pay by Paypal for items costing up to £ 1500. This allows immediate and secure online payment using any major credit card (requires registration at www.paypal.com first). Customers using this method of payment should click on the 'Paypal Buy Now' buttons below item photographs.  £ 8 will be added to each payment to cover insured 'Special Delivery' postage for UK customers and Royal Mail 'International Signed For' delivery for US customers up to an item value of  £ 499.99,  £ 15 will be added for items costing between  £ 500 -  994.99, and  £ 25 will be added for items over £ 995 in value. If multiple items are ordered, only one postage payment will apply no matter how many items are ordered. For example, if two or more items costing under £ 499.99 each are bought, then a single postage and packing payment of  £ 8  applies. ROM1 A group of three glass unguentaria, c. 1st Century B.C.-1st Century A.D. : £ 195 the group

A group of three small glass unguentaria, the first a green flat-bottomed example, measuring 59 mm/2.3 ins. high, complete and undamaged with relatively thick glass, Phoenician, c. 1st Century A.D.; the second, a round-bottomed example with clear glass and some iridescence, intact and measuring 63 mm/2.5 ins. high, labelled as Egyptian, c. 100 B.C.; the third, a round bottomed example with a long tubular neck, in blue glass with iridescence, measuring 85 mm/3.4 ins. high, complete and in good condition, Roman, 1st Century A.D.

ROM2 An Etruscan Bucchero ware chalice, c. 625-575 B.C. : £ 325 NEW!

An Etruscan Bucchero ware chalice; measuring 78 mm/3 ins. high and 134 mm/5.3 ins. in diameter. The vessel has a carinated bowl with tall straight lip and low flaring foot, with a band of three grooves encircling the bowl. Some scratches and minor wear, but intact, c. 625-575 B.C.

ROM3 A good-sized Samian bowl fragment, reputedly found in London, 1st-2nd Century A.D. :  £ 85

A good-sized Samian pottery fragment comprising the greater part of a footed bowl, measuring 99 mm/3.8 ins. in diameter. About a quarter of the bowl lost and the foot missing, some minor wear, otherwise condition good, an impressed rosette in the centre of the bowl. Reputedly found in London, 1st-2nd Century A.D.

ROM4 A Roman North African Red Ware pottery bowl, from Tunisia, 2nd-3rd Century A.D. :  £ 125

A good-sized Roman North African Red Ware pottery bowl, measuring 159 mm/6.3 ins. in diameter. An inoffensive rim chip and some minor encrustation, otherwise condition good. From Tunisia, 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
Ex Peter Negus Collection and acquired by him from the London dealer B.A. Seaby Ltd.

ROM5 A pair of Roman hollow gold crescent-shaped ear-rings, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D. :  £ 160

A pair of similar Roman hollow gold crescent-shaped ear-rings, with twisted terminals, formed over mud cores. Ear-rings measure 12-13 mm/0.5 ins. across. The sheet gold split and torn on the sides not shown, exposing the mud cores, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
