ROM13 Part of a Roman sheet gold diadem, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D. : £ 185

Part of a Roman sheet gold diadem, pierced at one end, measuring 126 mm/5 ins. in length, some patchy reddish patination, rather crumpled and one end damaged, but an inexpensive example, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D.

A single Roman gold ear-ring, comprising a circular gold boss with a beaded border, 11 mm/0.4 ins. across, attached to a gold wire ear attachment. Size of ear-ring including ear attachment, 14 mm/0.5 ins., condition good, a nice example, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D.

ROM16 Part of a late Roman decorated sheet gold diadem, c. 3rd-4th Century A.D. : £ 265 RESERVED

Part of a late Roman sheet gold diadem that has been decorated by hammering over a number of Roman coins, the fragment measuring 103 mm/4 ins. in length. Some minor damage and tearing at each end, but an attractive and unusual artifact, c. 3rd-4th Century A.D.
Previously in a private collection of ancient gold work formed during the 1950s to mid 1970s. Supplied in a glass topped frame.

A single Roman sheet gold ear-ring, consisting of a simple hoop tapering towards the hooked terminals. Ear-ring measures 14 mm/0.6 ins. across, condition good, a nice example, c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
